Standard range
The range of our standard transformers conforms to practically the entire spectrum of requirements needing to be met by wired communication systems where sub-elements of a complex system are to be coupled with zero reflection. Available as serial products they are designed for use as either matching or isolating transformers and, depending on the particular model, can be used to create phantom circuits.

Customized specifications
Where special technical requirements are not covered by our range of standard transformers we well be glad to develop transformers based on the customer’s specifications.

System Description
HVI-TEC has been providing high voltage isolation products to protect telecommunications circuits entering substations, power generating plants, cell site communications facilities and PCS sites for over 35 years. With its Isolation Transformer product line, HVI-TEC offers a complete line of copper based high voltage isolation solutions for 10kV (200Hz…3500kHz – 150Ohm), 15kV (200Hz…3500kHz – 150Ohm) and 20kV (200Hz…12MHz – 150Ohm) isolation protection.

The Isolation Transformer is a proven 2-wire passive wire line isolation system, standalone units for high voltage isolation application where equipment and personnel safety are of primary consideration.

The HVI-TEC isolator product line can accommodate virtually every type of communication circuit. The HVI-TEC Isolation Transformer has no moving parts, and does not require cumbersome remote powering arrangements. Its reliability in maintaining communications is unmatched, meeting all the requirements of IEEE 487. HVI-TEC’s passive Isolation Transformer system offers safe, long-term, maintenance-free operation.
